Our new Investment in Homes Strategy

We’ve launched our new Investment in Homes Strategy, setting out how we’ll invest in our homes, neighbourhoods and communities over the coming years.

Our homes are at the heart of what we do. We want you to have a home that is safe, comfortable, well maintained and suitable for your needs, and we want to make sure our investment is focused where it can make the biggest difference.

Your views have helped shape our plans

Earlier this year, we asked for your views through our Homes and Communities consultation, and more than 370 residents shared their experiences and ideas with us.

You told us about the things that matter most to you, including windows and doors, kitchens and bathrooms, heating, storage and space, and damp and mould. We’ve used what you told us to help shape our investment priorities.

Our strategy focuses on four key areas:

Maintain safe, good-quality and sustainable homes

We’ll continue to invest in keeping your home safe, warm and in good condition. This includes improving energy efficiency, with the majority of our homes expected to reach EPC C by 2029.

Places and communities

Investment isn’t just about individual homes. We’ll also look at the wider places where you live, including improving around 500 garages and making sure our investment supports strong, attractive communities.

Data driven

We’ll use better information about our homes to help us plan investment proactively and make sure we’re putting money where it’s needed most.

Resident experience and feedback

This strategy is an important part of our commitment to providing good-quality homes and services that you can trust.

We’ll keep you updated as our plans progress and as investment takes place in your home and community.
