Health and social work services. Social services. Social work services. Community health services. This is a sub-contract from the Home Care Support Services for Adults and Children, the services that we require are Reablement services. This contract was awarded in 2013.

Reablement is a service, available for up to six weeks for people who need help getting back up to speed after a period of illness, or the onset of a disability. If a service user has lost some of their independence, perhaps due to a recent illness, disability or following a period in residential care, the Reablement service may be able to help people get back on their feet. We encourage people to get back to independence within a timeframe of 6 weeks. There is a specific training need for people who provide this type of service, they need to be flexible and have certain skills.
