The University of Essex is intending to renew its web presence, particularly its extensive main website. We recognise that it we need to be clear about our requirements in order to undertake the project to successfully deliver the benefits to the University. Before we go about building it and implementing it, there is a preparatory stage we need help with. We require an web/digital strategy consultancy to work with us, to understand the role of our web presence in supporting our strategic objectives, to talk to our users, and to help us define the scope of our project and our requirements. The consultancy will then create a brief that we can use to tender for an external implementation company who will then design, build, and populate our new website. The consultancy may be retained to provide quality assurance for the implementation phase.
