Braintree District Council is seeking to commission a suitably experienced and qualified supplier to complete the design, procurement and implementation of way-finding and signage in Braintree, Halstead & Witham town centres. The signs will be placed at arrival points, car parks and major pedestrian junctions in the town centres.

The signs are required to show:
- Destinations for residents, visitors and workers;
- Places and destinations in relation to one another, helping visitors to have better mental maps of the area; and
- Estimated journey times to significant locations.

The services required are:

1. Psychological and human behaviours analysis to inform strategic way-finding design principles and concepts, including locations

2. Project specific design of way-finding and signage to fit the client’s brief

3. Manufacture, delivery and installation of way-finding and signage

The estimated maximum value of this requirement is £120,000.
