Short Description: The Council owns approximately 2,900 domestic dwellings spread across the Uttlesford District (a map of which is available on our web site www.uttlesford.gov.uk) The Council is seeking to appoint one contractor to take prime contractual responsibility for the supply and installation of central heating boilers for a period of 3 years with an option to extend for 2 x 12 months. To give you an idea of the scope of the contract this is the pattern of use in the last year: Oil Fired Planned 24 Reactive 41 Gas Fired Planned 36 Reactive 105 Air Source Planned 90 Reactive 0 It is proposed that the successful contractor be appointed on the basis of the Cabinet Office model conditions of contract which have been tailored to this requirement. The works in each individual property shall be carried out under a JCT Minor Works contract with Contractors Design (MWD2011).
