Supplying PAE members:
* Most members of the PAE have adopted the BiP Select Service which is a national pre–qualification service for the public sector. Suppliers are invited to register on the PAE portal if they are interested in supplying goods and services to PAE members. Free of charge self–certified registration provides access to the national supplier database and email notification of suitable contract notices.
* The PAE also recommend that suppliers register on the Essex County Council supplier portal as free of charge registration provides access to the ECC supplier database and email notifications of their contract notices.
*Southend Borough Council has adopted the E-Tendering tool Proactis that will enable suppliers to register and maintain their details on the following link FREE OF CHARGE http://southend.proactisp2p.com. Once suppliers have registered they will then be able to automatically receive by email future tender alerts. Further details on the system can be obtained on the Southend Borough Councils Web site www.southend.gov.uk
The Procurement Agency for Essex recommends that suppliers register with all 3 Essex Supplier Portals to maximise business opportunities.
